Save the DATE! Just a Game Con #25 April 16th and 17th 2016

Hello All!

JAG Con is coming up quick.  And we are looking for volunteers to demo games to participants. If you’d like to you demonstrate your favorite game, a game you’re developing or run a specific event please e-mail the convention staff at

If there is a game you’d like to see Demo-ed but don’t feel you could do justice to please let us know and we’ll try to have one of the volunteers show it.

Thank you for your continued support  in making this a fun event for all.

JAG Convention Staff

Thanks for a great Just a Game Con #23!

We wanted to thank everyone for their contributions in helping make Just a Game Con #23 a great success. Even if your contribution was to just show up and complain about your dice rolls, you are what makes Game Con a great place to come and try out new games, play in fun events, and get free gamer swag. Here is a quick glance at the show from April 18th and 19th at The Elks Lodge Corvallis. Make sure to mark your calendar for October 3rd and 4th for JaGC #24.

A Memorial to some fallen Gamers we lost this past year. Kevin Bupp, Tim McDowell, and Pat Hannan. We miss you already, but we saved a seat for you.

Wyrd Games @ Just a Game Con

Join us this weekend to try out Malifaux, a skirmish-level miniatures wargame manufactured by Wyrd Miniatures involving gang warfare in the ruins of a crumbling city.

The city of Malifaux was discovered through a portal into another world. This world is a source of the valuable mineral known as “soulstone” which allows for magical effects. Games pit masters and their crews against one another for control of this resource.

Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer’s League @ JaGC

Events will be going on all weekend, and a prize raffle on Sunday.

Check our schedule for more details!

The D&D Adventurers League is an ongoing official organized play campaign for Dungeons & Dragons®. It uses the fifth edition of the Dungeons & Dragons rules, and features the Forgotten Realms® setting. D&D Expeditions center on playing episodic adventures set in the Moonsea region at a convention or a local game store. Each adventure is usually two to four hours long, and specifies the character levels appropriate for play. The adventures being hosted at JAG are all from the newest season “Elemental Evil” heroes are needed in the Forgotten Realms to discover and defeat secret cults that threaten to annihilate the Sword Coast by harnessing the powers of the elements of fire, water, air, and earth. New player and veterans alike are welcome.

Please bring your own dice and a pencil, Pre-gen characters will be available and there will be a workshop to make characters but any player with an Adventurers League legal character should bring it with them, even if it was from last season. Having a mini to represent your character never hurts either 🙂

Raffle for a set of Gen Con Dice each time someone plays they will get one entry to the Raffle. Raffle will be at 4.30pm on Sunday.
